Airbnb Turnover Questions
How much does an Airbnb turnover cost in Los Angeles?
For how that compares to the wider market, see what Airbnb turnover cleaning costs in Los Angeles, which breaks down market ranges by unit size and why flat rate beats hourly for hosts. This service charges a flat rate per turnover rather than hourly: $150 for a studio or one bedroom, $195 for a two bedroom, and from $240 for three bedrooms or larger. Same-day requests under six hours notice add $40. The cost is the same whether the guests left the place tidy or not.
Is laundry included in the turnover?
Yes. Sheets and towels are washed, dried and remade on site using the washer and dryer in the unit or the building, at no extra cost. If the property has no working machines, laundry can be taken off site for an added $45 per turnover, up to two loads, and returned within 24 hours, often the same day. Because of that gap, the unit needs a second set of linens so the bed can be made before the next check-in. If you do not have one, a set can be sourced and billed back at cost.
How does billing work?
One-time turnovers are invoiced per visit. Recurring hosts can be invoiced weekly instead, which is simpler once you are booking several resets a month.
How fast can a unit be turned over between guests?
A standard one bedroom reset takes about two to three hours, limited mostly by the laundry cycle. Booking the window right after checkout leaves room for a same-day check-in.
Who supplies cleaning products and linens?
The host does. You keep the supply closet stocked and get a text before anything runs out, which keeps the flat rate flat and lets you control the products used in your unit. Linens are the host’s too, and I will tell you exactly what to keep stocked after the walkthrough.
How do I know the turnover actually happened?
Photos of every room are sent when the unit is locked up, along with notes on any stains, breakage or missing items, before your next guest checks in.
Which parts of Los Angeles are covered?
The Westside, Hollywood, Silver Lake, Downtown and surrounding neighborhoods. Properties outside that range can still be quoted after a walkthrough.
